Prairie Mobile Communications (PMC) owns and operates twelve (12) authorized Service Centres across the Prairie Provinces and into Northwestern Ontario. These Service Centres are staffed with trained and experienced technicians that specialize in warranty and non-warranty repairs on two-way radio equipment.

We stock manufacturer original replacement parts for the radios that we carry and, our fully equipped Service Centres are outfitted to repair most major brands of two-way radios. If you are unsure if your radio can be repaired at one of our Service Centres, just give us a quick call.

Service Centre Locations

Our twelve (12) Service Centres operate independently, but collaborate to accommodate the repair needs of our customers. As an example, a customer in Calgary may need to have his radio repaired while visiting their branch office in Winnipeg. Rather than wait to take the radio into our Service Centre in Calgary, they can drop it off at the Winnipeg Service Centre to have the repairs completed.

Shop Repairs

In shop service and repairs completed by our qualified technicians include:

  • Trouble reporting and diagnostics
  • Radio equipment and accessory repairs
  • Board level repair services1

  • In-vehicle mobile radio installations, other custom vehicle installations
  • Factory standards tests
  • Custom cable and connectors
  • Warranty and non-warranty repairs

All repairs completed are covered by a 90-day labour and one (1) year parts warranty. PMC technicians provide prompt, cost-effective repairs focused on getting your radio equipment back to peak performance.

Field Installations and Repairs

PMC technicians are also dispatched to customer locations or equipment locations to complete repairs and/or installation of radio networks and infrastructure, base stations, repeater solutions, cellular boosters, tower mounts, and in-vehicle installation.

Dedicated Technical Resources

Our technical resources work hand-in-hand with our many customers to ensure that they received exceptional service, advice and value. On average, our technicians have 20+ years experience in radio technology and associated equipment. They are also vendor trained and trained in various industry standards. PMC also ensures that our technicians have the appropriate tools, support and any ongoing training they need to succeed.
